Does it seem like everyone you know is on vacation right now? My Instagram feed is filled with images of sun-soaked beaches, dreamy sunset cocktails, and those relaxed smiles that only time on holiday can bring.
Never mind that my family was just on vacation in June—that might as well have been eons ago. It only takes a spin through social media to get me Googling “vacation rentals long weekend near me.”
No matter, it’s still summer. Whether I’m at the beach or the pool, or hiding out from the sizzling sun indoors, there’s a certain festive dressing this time of year inspires. Necklaces made with seashells, bracelets of beads, a gleaming hoop that seems destined for dinners-with-a-view, and of course, plenty of turquoise—they’re all part of the jewelry wardrobe this most wonderful season commands.
So while I have to resort to a staycation for the remainder of this summer, I can certainly do it in style—and so can all jewelry lovers, destined for travel or not. Below, some favorites for the season.
